Client Request

Slip form is a type of formwork of pouring concrete that travels up by it self as the concrete pouring is progressing. 24/7 type of work that BH provides continuous goods/passengers access to formwork.

Builders Hoist Solution

Goods and Passengers hoist with continuous service and tie installation as the formwork progresses. Three mast climbers 2 x single mast and 1 x twin mast machines. 65m height. Twin mast climber with bespoke extensions approx. 2.5m out from the platform. Single mast climber joined together at 60 degrees angle.

Special Designs

Advance bespoke brackets were required for mast climber connections. With only 15 mm gaps between techrete panels to fix the mast to the RC structure.

A unique solution was required. Builders Hoists designed & certified a special bracket to facilitate this.

Return extension, bespoke ramp to join two single mast climbers at 60 degrees angle.

Result

Very highly precise coordination in terms of tie fixings (at very specific time even during the night). 24/7 service – service present on site within 30 min from phone call received 24/7. High precision in terms of tie locations due to only 15 mm gaps available.
