Job Type: Building Access

Client request: Provide access to the building on two elevations. Odd design building with all floors suspended from the main core. As a result no solid area in the building to connect the hoist. Additionally, machines to be located away from elevation.

Builders Hoists solution

Special design brackets with chemical anchors installation to spread the loads around greater area.In terms of access, BH offered/design extra long bridge ramps for each floor. The extra long bridges allowed to fit scaffold between hoist and the building for elevation work. Both hoist and the scaffold were independent.

Machine Used: Alimak 2032 and GJJ 2032

Special Designs: Special tie. Special design bridge ramps.

Special Fabrications: Bespoke tie brackets. Bridge ramps to close 3 m gap between the hoist and the building

Simple, safe and easy access for onsite personnel to quickly access different floors.
