In Memory of Sam Small.

We are deeply saddened to confirm that on Friday 12th December, our much-loved colleague and friend, Sam Small, tragically lost his life while carrying out his daily duties.

Sam was a huge part of the Builders Hoists family. He was a dedicated, hardworking, and highly skilled member of our team who gave his whole self to his work every day. Sam took great pride in what he did, cared deeply about doing things properly, and was known across sites not just for his presence, but for his commitment, professionalism, and unmistakable character.

Beyond his work ethic, Sam brought energy, humour, and personality wherever he went. He was someone you noticed, someone you remembered, and someone many were proud to work alongside. He will be greatly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

The incident has been reported to the relevant authorities, and the Health and Safety Authority (HSA) is currently carrying out an investigation.

Our thoughts are with Sam’s family, friends, and colleagues at this extremely difficult time.
